Together Kombucha was started by owner and brewer Sacha Laurin in 2013 as her way to share what had become a life-changing magical brew with friends and family. Upon first taste, this fizzy, probiotic-rich beverage is enriched with detoxifying, fortifying, and rejuvenating ingredients that can enhance your well-being, improve your health, with a color that makes you smile! We brew with integrity, and ask throughout our brewing process, “How do we cultivate goodness? How can we help others live more sustainably, more mindfully, more beautifully?”
Our kombucha is rooted in the little universe that is created from steeping tea with water and sugar. Over time, microorganisms are born and thrive on the sugar, and grow into what brewers in the industry call a SCOBY, a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast. Steeping the tea with botanicals and herbs produces a unique flavor reminiscent of the tea blend, but is fermented until carbonated, producing a light, slight puckering, tarte, bright delicious brew.
We pay respect and celebrate the little universe of life that is produced in each batch of kombucha, and draw inspiration from the “mother” scoby — both in its creation and cultivation of life that abounds from each brew. Sacha, armed with her secret tea blends, creates kombucha that makes you feel lighter — from its effervescent bubbles and probiotics that aid digestion, to the botanicals infused that create depth of flavor, nutritional or medicinal benefits, and the beautiful, vibrant colors that separate our kombucha from the rest.
We brew our small batch craft kombucha for 5-7 days, so our kombucha is light in feel and balanced in taste. Our authentic brewing process is different from others’ because we let our kombucha age naturally, no added yeast, no diluting, and no addition of natural sugars. We don’t need to add much, because we create our kombucha the natural, intentional way. Armed with additional benefits, including detoxifying enzymes and good-for-you antioxidants, our kombucha celebrates nature and inspires a healthier, more conscious lifestyle.
Sacha selects her teas like picking flowers from a garden: she falls in love with colors and scents, and draws inspiration for pairings like one would consider wine with food. Each addition, selected by hand and experimented with until perfect, is intentional, and meant to nourish you from the inside out.
